It rings at 9:30pm, just as three tables ask for the bill. The booking goes into the notebook in a hurry, and by Friday nobody remembers whether the party said eight or nine.

Walk-ins on a full night go on the waitlist
Four people walk in without a booking and there's no table. You put them on the waitlist with a name, party size and phone number. When a table frees up, you confirm them and it becomes a normal booking, with the same double-booking check.

Occupancy, covers, no-shows, how many guests came back. From these you can tell whether next Saturday needs one more waiter, and the bookings download as a CSV for your accountant.

The guest scans the QR code, the kitchen sees the ticket, the bill closes from that same phone. It all sits on the same table in the console, which is why the ticket carries the booking's name.

The bill
One bill for the party, however many rounds it took
The wine at 9pm and the dessert at 11:15 go on the same bill, visible from every phone at the table. The guest pays all of it or part of it, with a tip if they want, and the receipt is issued by your provider.

Payments connect to your own merchant account and the invoicing provider you choose. The money doesn't pass through us. We set it up with you before it opens to guests.

It takes bookings at 3am too, when someone remembers to book for Saturday. The top of the page shows your restaurant's name and opening hours.

Visit history, allergies, the table they always ask for, and the fact that last time they waited twenty minutes to be seated.

The name becomes the title of the console and of your public booking page.

FAQ
Questions before you open an account.
Do I need to install anything?
No. table2book opens in the browser: a tablet at the pass, a laptop in the office, a phone in your pocket. The kitchen only needs a screen with an internet connection.
How fast is the setup?
Your account opens in a minute. With the starter checklist you add hours, tables and your first booking in 5–10 minutes.
Do you charge commission per booking?
No. You pay your plan's subscription, the phone assistant if you add it, and SMS once it opens, at €0.09 each. Nothing per booking or per cover.
Do I need a cash register for QR ordering?
An order from the table is an operational ticket, not a receipt. The tax side is handled by the certified e-invoicing provider you choose, and table service in Greece can be covered by a provider instead of a till. Invoicing through a provider becomes mandatory on 1 October 2026, with an adjustment period until the end of the year. Check your own case with your accountant before you switch payments on.
What about my guests' data?
It stays in your own console, on servers in the EU. On paid plans you download the guest book as CSV whenever you like, and if a guest asks to be erased, you delete their record and we delete their details from the bookings.
What if I want to leave?
No contract and no penalty: cancel the subscription from Settings, download bookings and guests as CSV, and to delete the account for good, send us an email.
